An award winning, multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking an Architectural Technologist or Technical Architect to join its Bristol team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional looking to develop their career within a well established, highly respected practice.

The Role & Responsibilities:

• Working collaboratively with Architects and wider design teams to deliver projects from planning through to construction
• Producing high-quality technical drawings, construction packages and detailed design information
• Preparing and coordinating planning applications and Building Regulations submissions
• Developing and managing NBS specifications
• Coordinating technical information with consultants, including structural, civil and MEP engineers
• Attending site visits, design team meetings and liaising with contractors as required
• Supporting projects during construction stages, responding to technical queries and site issues
• Working within JCT and NEC contract frameworks
• Ensuring technical compliance with current Building Regulations and best practice standards

 Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology (HNC / HND / Degree or equivalent)
• Experience working as an Architectural Technologist or Technical Architect within a UK practice
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to produce coordinated construction information
• Revit proficiency is mandatory
• Experience preparing technical details, specifications and regulatory submissions
• Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts
• Knowledge of NBS specifications
• Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to progress professionally
• MCIAT chartership achieved or working towards (full support provided)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
• Proficiency in Revit
