Area Sales Manager – Ceiling Systems

Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Suspended Ceilings

Industry Sector: Acoustic Ceilings, Suspended Ceilings, Ceiling Systems, Interiors, Acoustics, Drywall, Insulation, Interior Fit Out, Partitions, Technical Sales, Area Sales Manager, Specification Sales Manager, Business Development Manager

Area to be covered: M4 corridor (ideally based Bristol, Reading, Swindon, Basingstoke, Salisbury)

Remuneration: £60,000 negotiable + up to 25% bonus

Benefits: £6,500 car allowance + full benefits package

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Suspended Ceilings will involve:

• field sales position selling a high quality  manufactured range  of acoustic & suspended ceiling systems
• Majority of your time will be spent selling to contractors, specialist sub-contractors and distributors for quicker wins
• However there will be another large portion of your time dedicated to specifiers & architects
• focusing on commercial projects such as; commercial office, education, healthcare and residential
• Projects are a mixture of refurbishment and new build

The ideal applicant will be a Area Sales Manager – Suspended Ceilings with:

• Must have sold a technical related building products such as; ceilings, lighting, insulation, drywall, plaster, render, interiors, decorative interior finishes etc
• Must have sold to sub contractors & distributors
• Ideally sold to specifiers & architects
• Commercially aware
• Able to absorb technical information and articulate it in a clear way
