Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Location: Bristol, Somerset

Salary/Benefits: £26k - £42k DOE + Training & Benefits

Our client is recruiting in the South West for a hardworking Asbestos Surveyor to join a successful and established team. This company would like someone with BOHS P402 or equivalent, who can confidently carry out asbestos surveys on a range of client sites. In addition, you will be collecting ACM samples and liaising with clients in a professional manner. Experience / Qualifications:

• Hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
• Fully conversant in industry technical guidelines such as HSG 264
• Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, ideally within a UKAS accredited company
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Brilliant client facing skills
• Able to travel in line with company requirements

The Role:

• Attending a mixed portfolio of commercial and domestic client sites to undertake asbestos surveys
• Conducting management, refurbishment, demolition and re-inspection surveys
• Ensuring to wear correct PPE at all times
• Completing regular, detailed technical reports
• Producing technical drawings
• Working to agreed deadlines
• Collecting ACM samples from client premises
• Representing the company in a professional manner
