Counterbalance Forklift Operator

£13.85 per hour | Monday to Friday | Rotating Shifts (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm) | Temp to Perm | Immediate Start | Patchway (BS34)

We're recruiting an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join a fast‑growing business in Patchway (BS34). This is a temp‑to‑perm role offering long‑term stability, progression and a supportive team environment.

Role Details of a Counterbalance Forklift Operator

• Location: Patchway (BS34)
• Hours: Monday to Friday - rotating weekly (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
• Pay Rate: £13.85 per hour
• Start Date: Immediate
• Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Key Responsibilities of a Counterbalance Forklift Operator

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift (valid, expired or in‑house licences accepted)
• Picking, packing and general warehouse duties
• Managing Goods In / Goods Out processes
• Using warehouse systems for stock checks, booking in/out and updating inventory
• Maintaining racking, stock rotation and warehouse organisation
• Supporting manual handling tasks, including occasional heavy lifting

Requirements of a Counterbalance Forklift Operator

• Previous warehouse or forklift experience preferred
• Valid, expired or in‑house Counterbalance licence accepted
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual and safety‑conscious
• Basic IT skills, including:

o Using tablets and scanners for stock control

o Navigating an ERP system for bookings and inventory updates

o Inputting quantities, measurements and material data

o Completing digital warehouse bookings
