Are you an experienced Estimator looking for the opportunity to work on exceptional, high-specification residential projects?

We're working with an established and highly regarded building contractor specialising in the delivery of bespoke, luxury homes and high-quality construction projects. Due to continued growth, they're looking for an Estimator to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Estimator who enjoys working on bespoke, design-led projects where quality, attention to detail and commercial accuracy are key.

As Estimator, you'll play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive estimates and tenders, working closely with the pre-construction and delivery teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing detailed estimates and tenders for high-end residential projects

• Reviewing drawings, specifications, schedules and other tender information

• Completing detailed take-offs and preparing bills of quantities

• Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations

• Preparing accurate cost plans and tender submissions

• Identifying potential risks, omissions and opportunities within tenders

• Liaising with architects, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers

• Negotiating quotations and ensuring best commercial value

• Assisting with the procurement process

• Supporting the commercial team with budgets and cost planning

• Maintaining accurate estimating records and databases

• Working closely with Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors to ensure a smooth handover from pre-construction to delivery

We're looking for an Estimator with experience within construction, ideally gained within high-end residential, bespoke homes, luxury developments or other high-specification projects.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience working as an Estimator within construction

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and costs

• Experience producing detailed estimates and tender submissions

• Excellent attention to detail and numerical ability

• Experience obtaining and analysing subcontractor quotations

• Strong understanding of drawings and specifications

• Good negotiation and communication skills

• A commercially focused and methodical approach

• The ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines

• Relevant construction or Quantity Surveying qualifications are desirable
