Experienced School Finance Officer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced School Finance Officer to support the day-to-day financial operations within a school environment. This role requires a candidate with proven school finance experience and strong knowledge of PS Financials.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage financial administration and accounting processes.
• Process purchase orders, invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Support budget monitoring and financial planning activities.
• Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end and year-end procedures.
• Liaise with staff, suppliers, and external stakeholders on finance-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with school financial procedures and policies.

Essential Requirements (Mandatory)

• Previous experience working in a school finance role.
• Proven working knowledge of PS Financials.
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the DBS Update Service.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Salary: Dependent on experience
