General Teaching Assistant - Chepstow

Academics are currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Chepstow area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable individual who is passionate about supporting children in their education. Working alongside the class teacher and wider school team, you'll provide valuable support to pupils both academically and pastorally, helping them feel confident, engaged and ready to learn.

The ideal candidate:

• Has a genuine passion for supporting children and their learning

• Can build positive and professional relationships with pupils

• Is patient, approachable and able to provide encouragement when pupils need it

• Can work effectively alongside teachers and other members of staff

• Is reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable

• Holds an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or is willing to apply

• Is registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or is willing to register

• Can provide two professional references relating to working with children
