Permanent, full-time
4 days on, 4 days off | 5:30am–3:00pm | No night shifts

Are you an experienced Production Supervisor or Shift Manager looking for a permanent daytime role?

We’re recruiting for a well-established food manufacturer in Avonmouth that is looking for a confident, hands-on manager to lead its production team. This is a busy, fast-paced environment where you’ll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly, maintaining quality standards and supporting your team to perform at their best.

• Leading and motivating the production team throughout the shift

• Ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer requirements are met

• Monitoring productivity and addressing issues quickly

• Managing performance, attendance and day-to-day employee matters

• Training, developing and supporting production operatives

• Coordinating with other departments to maintain an efficient production flow

• Promoting a positive, safe and collaborative working environment

• Providing additional cover during periods of holiday or absence when required

• Previous experience leading a team within food manufacturing, production, warehousing or a similarly fast-paced environment

• A hands-on and supportive management style

• Experience managing performance, absence, inductions and training

• The ability to remain organised and make confident decisions under pressure

• Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail

• A genuine focus on quality, productivity and teamwork

This role could suit an established Shift Manager or an experienced Production Supervisor who is ready to take the next step.
