Senior Project Manager – Biogas

Portskewett | Up to £55,000 | Full-Time | On-Site

Biogas experience is essential. No exceptions.

We’re working with an established, family-run manufacturing business in Portskewett that is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its team.

This is a hands-on, commercially focused role where you’ll take ownership of projects from initial enquiry and quotation through to design, manufacture, delivery and installation.

You’ll work closely with customers, suppliers, production teams and the Directors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the required specification.

What will you be doing?

• Preparing cost estimates and quotations in response to customer enquiries

• Reviewing contracts and specifications to ensure the business can deliver

• Managing projects from design through to manufacture, delivery and installation

• Acting as the key link between customers and production

• Providing guidance to production teams and resolving design or specification issues

• Managing procurement of materials, subcontractors, equipment and services

• Ensuring materials and services are procured at the right time to keep projects on schedule

• Managing stock levels and stock ordering

• Supporting other Project Managers with purchasing where required

• Overseeing invoicing and payment

• Completing project debriefs and reporting on final outcomes

• Identifying and implementing improvements to processes and efficiency

What we're looking for

Biogas experience is essential and non-negotiable.

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager who has a genuine understanding of the biogas industry and has managed projects within a technical manufacturing or engineering environment.

You’ll ideally have:

• Proven biogas industry experience – essential

• Previous Project Management experience within manufacturing, engineering or a related technical environment

• Experience managing projects from quotation through to completion

• Strong commercial and financial awareness

• Purchasing and supplier management experience

• Excellent organisation and communication skills

• The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities

• A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving

• Confidence dealing with customers, suppliers, production teams and senior management

The package

• Up to £55,000 salary
• Portskewett – fully on-site
• Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–4:30pm, Friday: 7:00am–3:30pm
