Registered Service Manager - Bristol
Registered Service Managers play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support, and we're looking for a motivated and ambitious leader to join us in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a specialist rehabilitation service supporting adults with acquired brain injuries and complex needs. The service combines residential support with an established community outreach provision, working alongside healthcare professionals, therapists and local stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes and maximise independence.
We're looking for either an experienced Registered Manager seeking a new challenge, or a talented Service Manager ready to take the next step into registration.
This role would particularly suit somebody who enjoys building relationships in the community, developing teams and driving continuous improvement. You'll inherit an established service with a committed team, strong external partnerships and plenty of opportunity to bring your own ideas, leadership style and vision for the future.
About the Role
As Registered Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, quality and performance of the service.
Working closely with local authorities, healthcare professionals, commissioners and families, you'll ensure the people we support receive high-quality, person-centred care while leading and developing a team that is passionate about delivering positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, motivating and developing the management and support teams.
• Promoting a positive, accountable and inclusive culture.
• Managing the day-to-day operation of the service.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory, legislative and contractual requirements.
• Completing audits, service reviews and action plans.
• Managing budgets, occupancy and overall service performance.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with commissioners and healthcare professionals.
• Supporting the continued development of both residential and community-based services.
• Driving quality improvement and embedding best practice across the service.

You will also participate in the on-call rota, subject to service requirements.

Essential

• Previous experience in a care management role.
• Experience leading and developing teams within health and social care.
• Understanding of CQC requirements and quality standards.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness and ability to undertake CQC registration if not already registered.

Desirable

• Current or previous CQC Registered Manager experience.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or willing to work towards it
• Experience within rehabilitation, acquired brain injury, complex care or mental health, neurological services.
• Experience working closely with multidisciplinary teams and community stakeholders.
