Supply Cover Teacher - Monmouthshire

Are you a qualified teacher looking for a more flexible way to work in education? Academics is currently looking for Supply Cover Teachers to work across schools throughout Monmouthshire.

This role could be ideal if you enjoy working in the classroom but want the flexibility that supply work provides. You'll have the opportunity to deliver lessons, manage classrooms and support pupils across a variety of school settings.

Assignments can range from individual days to longer-term placements, giving you the freedom to choose work that fits around your availability.

For Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs), this can also be a valuable opportunity to develop your experience, work with different age groups and gain confidence in a range of classroom environments.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• An enhanced DBS check (essential), with Update Service registration desirable

• Current registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

• Two relevant teaching references

• Good classroom management skills

• A calm, adaptable and positive approach

• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils

• A commitment to supporting children with different learning needs
