Job Description:

Salary:                 Up to £55,000 depending on experience

Lead the testing, prove the capability and make a real impact.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Validation & Verification Lead to take ownership of V&V activity on a high-profile, technically complex programme. You will lead a small team, define test scenarios and success criteria, develop verification plans and ensure products meet their requirements through robust evidence and analysis.

What you will be doing

• Lead a small V&V team and manage delivery against planned outcomes
• Define test scenarios, test descriptions and verification approaches
• Analyse test results, requirements and technical evidence
• Manage requirements compliance and verification evidence
• Support issue resolution throughout software testing
• Contribute to technical, safety and security reports
• Track progress, generate metrics and report against project schedules
• Work closely with Design Authority and wider cross-functional teams
• Support change management and process improvement

What are we looking for?

You will ideally have:

• Strong experience of Validation & Verification processes
• Experience taking requirements through to products ready for testing
• Previous experience leading small technical teams
• The ability to work confidently across multidisciplinary teams
• Strong analytical skills, particularly around requirements, test evidence and technical reports
• Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody or similar engineering/configuration management tools
• A degree or equivalent experience, preferably within a STEM discipline
