Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Location: Bristol, Somerset

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £42k + Training & Benefits

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a professional Asbestos Surveyor to cover new domestic and commercial client contracts. Our client is a medium-sized UKAS accredited outfit, with a strong presence across the South West. Ideally, applicants will have good access to the M5 for easier travel across the region. You must be signed off to complete the full range of asbestos surveys, as you will be expected to hit the ground running. Experience / Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
• Qualified with the BOHS P402 or RSPH Level 3 in Surveying
• Excellent technical knowledge (e.g. UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines)
• Confident using IT software
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Flexible to travel in line with company needs

The Role:

• Attending commercial and domestic properties to conduct demolition, refurbishment and management asbestos surveys
• Obtaining ACM samples from site and delivering to the lab for analysis
• Collating findings to produce site-specific reports
• Highlighting any risks and making recommendations where needed
• Being a key point of contact for clients, answering technical and logistical queries
• Wearing correct PPE at all times
• Liaising with clients to arrange access to sites
• Adhering to UKAS and HSG guidelines
• Representing the company in a professional and positive manner
