Assistant Driller – Ground Source Heat Pump Projects

Piling Recruitment Group (PRG) is recruiting on behalf of a growing specialist drilling contractor looking to appoint an Assistant Driller on a permanent basis.

The role will involve working alongside an experienced Foreman Driller on the drilling and installation of boreholes for Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) projects across the UK.

The Role

Working as part of a drilling team, you will assist the Foreman Driller with the safe and efficient operation of the drilling rig and associated equipment.

Duties will include assisting with drilling operations, handling drilling equipment and materials, supporting borehole installation and helping maintain a safe and productive working area.

The position offers a competitive salary dependent on experience, together with an attractive meterage-based performance bonus offering additional earning potential.

Requirements

Previous experience within drilling, piling, ground engineering or a similar site-based environment would be advantageous.

Relevant backgrounds could include:

• Ground Source Heat Pump boreholes

• Geothermal drilling

• Water well drilling

• Borehole drilling

• Geotechnical drilling

• Piling or ground engineering
